Welcome to Wisely. These Terms and Conditions explain the rules for using wisely.sbs and Wisely's personal finance management services. By creating an account or using Wisely, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Wisely
Wisely is a web-based personal finance management system designed to help you record, organize, monitor, and understand your personal finances.
Wisely provides features that may include:
- Wallet and balance tracking
- Income and expense recording
- Transaction categorization
- Budget creation and monitoring
- Financial goals
- Planned and recurring payments
- Debt and receivable tracking
- Transfers between user-created wallets
- Financial reports and summaries
- Receipt scanning
- Notifications and reminders
- Financial dashboards and analytics
Features may be modified, improved, added, or removed as Wisely continues to develop.
2. Wisely is not a bank or financial institution
Wisely is a financial tracking and budgeting tool. It is not a bank, electronic wallet, payment processor, accounting firm, investment service, or financial adviser.
Wallets created within Wisely are virtual records used to represent and organize your finances. Naming a wallet after a bank, electronic wallet, cash account, or other financial service does not connect Wisely to that institution.
Transfers recorded between Wisely wallets change only your financial records in Wisely. Wisely does not transfer real money between bank accounts, electronic wallets, or other financial institutions.
3. Account registration
When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information.
- Maintain the accuracy of your account information.
- Use an email address that you are authorized to access.
- Keep your password and login credentials confidential.
- Accept responsibility for activity performed through your account.
You must not create an account using another person's identity or intentionally provide false or misleading information.
4. Account security
Wisely may use security features such as:
- Password authentication
- Email verification
- One-time passwords or verification codes
- Trusted-device recognition
- Login and session controls
- Account suspension
- Password-reset verification
You should immediately change your password or contact Wisely if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. Wisely will never require you to disclose your password to another user.
5. Financial information
You are responsible for the financial information you enter into Wisely, including transaction amounts, income, expenses, budgets, wallet balances, goals, debts, receivables, and payment information.
Wisely may use this information to calculate balances, generate reports, display charts, monitor budgets, and provide other financial-management features. The accuracy of its calculations and reports depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. Review important financial information before relying on it.
6. No financial advice
Wisely provides personal financial organization and informational tools only. Its budgets, reports, charts, reminders, summaries, calculations, and other information do not constitute professional financial, investment, accounting, tax, or legal advice.
You remain responsible for your financial decisions. Consult an appropriately qualified professional for decisions requiring professional advice.
7. Receipt scanner
Wisely may provide receipt scanning to help enter transaction information. Where receipt processing occurs directly in your browser, the selected receipt image is used only to identify relevant transaction information and is not intentionally stored by Wisely unless the system clearly indicates otherwise.
Review scanned information before saving a transaction because automated text recognition may produce incorrect or incomplete results. Do not rely solely on receipt scanning for important financial records.
8. Budgets, goals, and financial tracking
Wisely may allow you to create budgets, savings goals, planned payments, recurring transactions, debts, receivables, and other financial records. These features are intended to help organize your finances.
Wisely does not guarantee that:
- A budget will prevent overspending.
- A financial goal will be achieved.
- A reminder will always be delivered at a particular time.
- A recurring or planned transaction will reflect an actual payment.
- A recorded debt or receivable will be paid.
- Financial reports will replace official financial records.
You remain responsible for monitoring your actual financial accounts and obligations.
9. Notifications
Wisely may provide notifications relating to budgets, transactions, payments, goals, security, or other account activity. You may be able to manage some notification preferences through your account settings.
Notifications are a convenience and should not be your sole method for remembering financial obligations, payment deadlines, or other important events.
10. Acceptable use
You agree to use Wisely only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to access another user's account without authorization.
- Obtain, modify, or delete another user's information without permission.
- Attempt to bypass authentication or security controls.
- Exploit vulnerabilities in Wisely.
- Introduce viruses, malware, or malicious code.
- Intentionally disrupt Wisely or its servers.
- Use automated tools to improperly scrape or extract information.
- Use Wisely for fraudulent or unlawful activities.
- Impersonate another person.
- Attempt to interfere with the availability or security of the Service.
Wisely may restrict or suspend accounts involved in prohibited activities.
11. Account suspension
Wisely may temporarily suspend an account where reasonably necessary to protect the user, other users, or the Service. Reasons may include:
- Suspected unauthorized access
- Security concerns
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent or abusive activity
- Attempts to interfere with the Service
- Other activities that may create a security or operational risk
Where appropriate, Wisely may provide information about the suspension and available account-recovery procedures.
12. Account deletion
You may request or initiate deletion of your account where this functionality is available. Deleting an account may permanently remove financial records and other account information. Export or save any information you wish to keep before deleting your account.
Wisely may retain information where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, backup recovery, or other legitimate purposes permitted by applicable law.
13. Data export
Wisely may allow you to export certain account or financial information to help you maintain your own copies. You are responsible for protecting exported files after downloading them to your device.
14. Privacy
Your use of Wisely is also subject to the Wisely Privacy Policy, which explains how personal and financial information is collected, used, stored, protected, and managed. By using Wisely, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.
15. Third-party services
Wisely may rely on third-party services for website hosting, email delivery, security, or other technical infrastructure. These services may operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Wisely is not responsible for interruptions or failures caused by third-party services outside its reasonable control.
16. Service availability
Wisely aims to maintain reliable access to the Service, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. The Service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, software updates, server or hosting problems, internet interruptions, security incidents, technical errors, or events outside Wisely's reasonable control.
Wisely may modify or discontinue features where necessary for development, maintenance, security, or legal compliance.
17. User data and backups
Do not treat Wisely as the only permanent record of important financial information. Although reasonable measures may be used to protect and maintain data, technical failures, user errors, or other unexpected events may occur. You are encouraged to export or maintain independent copies of important financial records.
18. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, Wisely's website design, software, interface, graphics, branding, text, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Wisely and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, modify, or commercially exploit Wisely's proprietary materials without authorization, except where permitted by law. You retain ownership of the personal and financial information you enter into Wisely.
19. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Wisely is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While reasonable efforts are made to provide accurate and reliable functionality, Wisely does not guarantee that:
- The Service will always be available.
- The Service will be completely free from errors.
- All financial calculations will always be accurate.
- Notifications will always be successfully delivered.
- Receipt scanning will always correctly recognize information.
- Data will never be lost due to circumstances outside reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
20. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Wisely and its developers or administrators will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of, or inability to use, the Service. You remain responsible for verifying financial information and making your own financial decisions.
21. Changes to these Terms
Wisely may update these Terms when features, security practices, legal requirements, or other aspects of the Service change. When significant changes are made, Wisely may require you to review and acknowledge the updated Terms. The Last Updated date indicates when these Terms were most recently revised.
22. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove rights provided to users under applicable Philippine law.
24. Acceptance
By creating an account or continuing to use Wisely, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
